The St. Andrew the Apostle Parish Social Concerns Committee is an outreach of St. Andrew the Apostle Roman Catholic Parish, 800 Taylor Dr, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635.  This committee provides the link between the parish and the communities of the City of Sierra Vista and Huachuca City, Cochise County, the Diocese of Tucson, the State of Arizona, the United States, and other countries around the world. 

The committee normally meets on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in Room 1 of the Parish Center.

Some of the activities of the committee include:

  • Stocking the parish food pantry and donating food & non-perishable items to the local food bank
  • Dispersing funds to local charities and needy individuals
  • Preparing and serving a meal once a month at the Salvation Army Kitchen
  • Organizing certain pro-life activities for the parish
  • Providing information on Social Justice issues
  • Sponsoring the activities of Third World Handarts
