Our Lady Who Unties Knots | Maria Als Knotenlöserin | La Virgen La Que Desanta Nudos
Its inspiration is drawn from St. Irenaeus, 2nd century bishop and martyr, who wrote, "The knot of Eve's disobedience was untied by Mary's obedience; for what Eve bound by her unbelief, Mary loosed by her faith." Just as you would ask your mother to 'untie' the knots in your shoe laces when you were a child, whatever the 'knots' in your life just now, ask the loving Mother of JESUS to untie them for you! Prayer to Our Lady Who Unties Knots: O Mary, my Mother, you know the extent of my sorrow and frustration, because of these 'knots' in my life. O Mary, my Mother, whose obedience to the Will of God, has untied the know of disobedience in so many lives, I place in your loving hands the knotted ribbon of my life and ask that you untie them, according to the Will of God and for the good of my soul! I ask this in the Name of JESUS, the Holy Child of Nazareth, Who brought the little knots of His life to you to untie. AMEN
