Catechism for Children at St Andrew The Apostle begins at age 3 years through The Sacrament of Confirmation in 10th grade. It is a year round program with only the weeks of Christmas and Easter off.
Age 3-6 is the Catechesis of The Good Shephard program on Sundays at 8:30-9:45 AM and Thursdays 10:00-11:15 AM in the Atrium classrooms.
First Communion Catechesis of the Good Shephard class age 6-9 is held on Wednesday or Thursday evenings 4:30-6:00 PM.
Grades 3-8 utilizes the Loyola Catechism Program "Life In Christ" on Sundays 8:30-9:45 AM in the Parish Center.
Confirmation 9th and 10th grade meet on Monday evenings 7:00-8:30 PM in the Parish Center.
Parish registration is required for CCD registration to maintain attendance records. Baptism Certificates are required if Baptism was not at St. Andrew's. Regular attendance is very important especially in the Sacrament classes. Part of a child's formation in Faith is learning from you the importance of learning and practicing their faith. Parents and Guardians are welcome in any of the classrooms and to participate in all extra curricula events at all times.
Training is available for anyone who would like to begin sharing their faith with the Children.
Any questions or concerns regarding the program can be directed to Christine Ramirez at 520-236-4998
